Teabag Folding - Diamond Fold Instructions

For this rosette you need 8 teabag squares, sticking template and glue.

Step 1
With the printed side of the square facing down fold the paper along the dotted line shown in the picture so you have a fold going from corner to corner.
Step 2
Open the paper out again, and make another fold in the same way from the other corner to corner.
Step3
Your square should now look like this with 2 folds from corner to corner.
Step 4
With the printed side facing up fold the square in half, bottom edge to top edge as shown in the picture. Open the paper out again and fold in half bringing the side edge to the side edge.
Step 5
Your paper should now look like this with 4 folds going up and down, across and from corner to corner.
Step 6
Fold the square in half pushing the sides in along the folds to make a triangle shape.
Step 7
Lift up the left hand flap of the triangle shape, as shown in the picture.
Step 8
Fold the bottom edge of the flap to the centre to make a small triangle.
Step 9
Fold the flap back down again. You have made one half of the diamond shape.
Step 10
Repeat the last 3 steps with the right hand flap. You have now formed the diamond shape as shown in the picture. Repeat steps 1-10 with the other 7 squares.
Step 11
Using the glue and sticking template, glue the first square in position as shown in the picture.
Step 12
Position and glue the next folded square on the template as shown over the last square but under the diamond flap.
Step 13
Continue until you have glued all 8 squares, position the last folded square under the diamond flap on the left but over the diamond flap on the right. You have now formed a rosette which you can stick on the front of a greeting card.
