My name is Clair Coult and I set up Flowerpot Tots in 2005.  I used cloth nappies and wool soakers on my children when they were babies and I have been making my own woollies and nappies since 2004. 

At the time choice was very limited so I made it my mission to make cute woollies and nappies that I would be proud to put my children in.  My children are potty trained and growing up fast so now I make wool soakers and nappies for other people.

I carefully select the best quality yarns and fabrics for my products.  I hand dye the majority of my yarns myself and can dye yarns to the customers specification.  My patterns are tried and tested to ensure a good fit and I am happy to exchange or refund any product if the customer is not 100% satisfied.

I only use 100% wool and all wool garments are lanolised and ready to use.  The wool is not guaranteed colourfast, dye may run during washing and transfer when wet.  I reccomend that you wash and soak wool garments separately, do not fold whilst damp. Cool hand wash in wool safe detergent, dry away from direct heat and light, do not iron, do not tumble dry.

My nappies are made from 100% cotton fabrics and may be machine washed at up to 40 degrees C and line dried or tumble dried on a low heat.  I recommend that they are washed 2-3 times before the first use.  The nappies are cut to allow for the initial shrinkage of the fabrics so don't worry if they seem a little big if you try them on your child before washing them.
